Ice Cream Emergency

After meeting while Matt was in the Army, Matt & Micheline married and have shared over 30 years together in Southwest PA. They’ve raised a family of four children and have been blessed with one grandchild and more on the way. In their time together, they’ve not been strangers to owning and operating small businesses. Matt was CEO of Plastikoil of PA, Inc. a print finishing manufacturer for over 25 years. This was a family business in which he started at the bottom and worked his way up learning and accelerating in all aspects of the business. Micheline was also a part of the family business as an office manager. In addition, in 2010, Matt & Micheline co-founded a faith based, non-profit (Ready Yourselves Youth Ranch-RYYR) in which Micheline became the Executive Director. It was Micheline’s passion to rescue horses and use them in a youth mentoring program to help kids dealing with difficult life issues. After the sale of Matt’s family business and with RYYR being securely established, Matt & Micheline weren’t quite ready to retire. They were looking to have their own business but not just any business. It had to be something they really enjoyed because let’s face it, much of the time, work is not something you really love. That’s when they discovered the Ice Cream Emergency franchise and now, their adventures in fun begin!
